“Woh hajje majaazi hai, tu hajje haqiqi hai. Dil he hajare aswad, seena tera zamzam hai.”

It is a truly a special event when the Dai embarks on the pilgrimage of Hajj. The confluence of the Ka’ba of stones and the Ka’ba of souls is a sight to behold and mumineen and ibadullah who are there to witness it are indeed blessed.

Yawme Arafa

On Yawmul Arafa 9th Zilhajj (29 July 2020), mumineen in Hong Kong should pray Zohr/Asr namaaz and do tilawat of doas by Syedna al-Mu’ayyad al-Shirazi RA and Imam Ali Zainul Aabedeen SA followed by qasida recital and wasila mubaraka recording.

Eid ul Adha Raat

On Eid ul-Adha raat 10th raat Zilhajj (29 July 2020), mumineen should pray Maghrib/Isha namaaz followed by washeq namaaz and wasila mubaraka.

Eid ul Adha Day

On Eid ul-Adha morning 10th Zilhajj (30 July 2020), mumineen should pray Fajr namaaz followed by khutba, and listen to wasila mubaraka. Eid Majlis will also be held.

On milad raat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA, Thursday 16 July (27th raat Zilqadatil Haraam), Milad Majlis will be held after Maghrib.

On Urus Mubarak of Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA (43rd Dai) and Syedna Abduttaiyeb Zakiuddin RA (35th Dai), on Wednesday 1 July 2020 (12th raat Zilqad al-Haraam) Urs Majlis will be held at markaz after maghrib/isha namaaz, followed by niyaz jaman.

Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA truly embodied the Quran’ic Ayat ‘fa inna ma’al ‘usri yusra, inna ma’al ‘usri yusra.’ At the tender age of twelve, he lost his father, but was then raised and trained by his elder brother Syedna Yusuf Najmuddin. After appointing his brother Syedi Abdulqadir Hakimuddin QR as Mazoon and Mansoos, he was devastated when Syedi Hakimuddin passed away, saying that one ‘like him’ had passed away. On the Urus Mubarak of Syedi Abdulqadir Hakimuddin QR, on 27mi raat Shawwal al-Mukarram (corresponding to Wednesday 17 June 2020), Maghrib/Isha Imamat Namaaz will be held at markaz followed by Urs Majlis.

Mumineen are also encouraged to read the English translation of the doa that is prayed after Shab-e-Baraat Washeq (translated by Shzd. Dr Bazat Tahera bensaheba) and also read the Sijill article on the significance and meaning of the “thumm washeq” namaaz.

On Yawmul Mab’as, 27 Rajab ul-Asab (Saturday 21 March 2020) mumineen, including children, will do rozu to celebrate the beginning of Islam and the many ihsaans and blessings of our Nabi Mustafa SAW. Mumineen are also encouraged to recite the qasida Tahan Nabiyul Mustafa Khairul Wara composed by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and presented with a translation in English.
